Who We Are

In 1933, Frank Crystal & Company was founded in New York City’s financial district to serve the insurance brokerage needs of financial institutions. As these institutions invested capital into new ventures and expanded their business models, we scaled our service and product offerings to match the needs of our clients, along with their executives, officers and directors.

Today, we provide full-service insurance brokerage, risk management and employee benefits solutions to a wide spectrum of industries and disciplines, including aviation, education, energy, financial and professional services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, marine, media, non-profit, private equity and venture capital, professional services, real estate and construction, retail/wholesale, technology, and transportation.  

Through three generations of family management, clients have relied upon Frank Crystal to deliver thoughtful insurance solutions and service of the highest caliber. The company has grown almost entirely organically to become one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the United States, representing clients in all 50 states and in 77 countries around the world.
